Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Phulwari Shariff (Goarichak) P.S. Case No. 872 of 2004 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 395 and 364 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner is not named in the first information report but his name surfaced in the confessional statement of coaccused. The occurrence is said to have taken place in the year 2004 and for near about after 14 years, the petitioner has approached this Court for getting anticipatory bail. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, I am not inclined to release the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.57181 of 2018 (2) dt.20-09-2018 2/2 petitioner on anticipatory bail and accordingly, his prayer for anticipatory bail in connection with Phulwari Shariff (Goarichak) P.S. Case No. 872 of 2004 pending in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Patna stands rejected.
