In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Barauni Rail P.S. Case No. 78 of 2017, registered for the offence punishable under Section 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation has been made that the mobile of the informant was snatched away by a person. It has come during the investigation that the said mobile was being used by one Sujit Kumar and Sujit Kumar has purchased the same from the petitioner, who is running a mobile repairing shop.
