1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1.i. For issuance of a writ in the nature of Certiorari or any other appropriate writ/writs to quash the letter bearing Memo No.46/ shastra dated 11.02.2023, issued by the District Magistrate, Begusarai through which the Arms License of petitioner has not been cancelled/revoked, but same has not been provided to petitioner till now along with the letter bearing memo no. 228/shastra dated 20.06.2023, issued under the signature of District Arms Magistrate, Begusarai (as contained in Annexure-6), whereby and whereunder petitioner

Patna High Court CWJC No.16994 of 2023(2) dt.17-05-2024 2/2 has been informed that his arms license has already been cancelled by the District Magistrate, Begusarai, vide memo no.46/shastra dated 11.02.2023, which is highly illegal, arbitrary with iota of personal biasness, whimsical and caprice manner and violative of Article 14, 15 and 21 of the Constitution of India."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to challenge the order dated 11.02.2023, passed by the District Magistrate, Begusarai, by filing appropriate appeal. Liberty so sought is granted.
