In this case, the petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs:- "(i) For issuance of appropriate writ/ writs, in the nature of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to take appropriate legal action against respondent no.7 for misusing her office, accumulating assets, disproportionate to her

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.1864 of 2023(3) dt.19-06-2024 2/3 known source of income and for indulging in corruption, under the provisions of prevention of corruption Act, 1988 as well as to initiate departmental proceedings against her for gross misuse of official position.

(ii) For direction/directions to the respondents to initiate appropriate proceeding against respondent no.7 in view of the enquiry report submitted by respondent no.5 vide letter no. 64 dated 19.07.2022 to respondent no. 4.

(iii) For further direction to respondent nos. 1 and 2 to take appropriate step to ensure security and safety of the petitioner in view of the threats being given to him by respondent no. 7."

The petitioner has filed a complaint against respondent no.7 making allegation that she has amassed huge wealth. The complaint of the petitioner has been acted upon by the authorities and they are examining the matter. 4.

On being put a specific query by this Court, the petitioner has admitted the fact that he is known to the respondent no.7.

It appears that the petitioner is having private dispute with the respondent no.7 and is trying to pressurize the State to act as per his wishes.

When the petitioner has already made a complaint and the State authorities including the police

Accordingly, this criminal writ petition stands dismissed.
