JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) 18-11-2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the respondents.

Petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs:-

For issuance of an appropriate writ, order, direction to the respondents for furnishing details about payment to employees of contractual appointment and under which rule the recommendation has been made and for how many days the Mayor of the corporation can withheld the file for approval with her.

ii. For issuance of an appropriate writ, direction to the respondents to furnish details about the vacant land situated in different wards of Municipal Corporation, Purnea alongwith Khata No., Plot No, and its Area and further that how many buildings have been constructed on the land of the Corporation.

Iii. For issuance of an appropriate writ, order, direction to the respondents to furnish detail about the financial power vested in the Mayor of Corporation and whether she is required to obtain any approval if yes then under what rule and notification, because when applications was filed under Right to Information Act then the information was not supplied and only a lame duck excuse has been given."

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the writpetitioner shall approach the respondent-authorities highlighting the grievances made in the present petition. This, he states, shall be positively done within a period of four weeks. Learned counsel for the respondents states that on receipt of such information, appropriate action shall positively be taken within a period of three months thereafter.
