Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 306, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The petitioner is husband of the victim and the informant is sister of the victim.
Allegation is of commission of dowry death.
Learned counsel for the State does not dispute after perusal of the case diary, that there is no direct evidence on illegal demand or torture for the same before death. Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner,
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.49069 of 2017 (3) dt.02-01-2018 above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Biraul Police Station Case No.356 of 2016, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
