JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 16-04-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. That the petitioner beseeches indulgence of Hon'ble Court with a prayer for issuance of writ or writs in the nature of certiorari quashing the appointment of Respondent No. 05 on the post of Sevika at Anganbadi Centre, Ward No. 12, Kumarpatti, Bharathi Panchayat Raj, Singhwara, Darbhanga which is quite in derogation of the Rules and Regulations in as much as a person from non-majority population community has been appointed and further that her husband namely Rakesh Kumar is Member of the Ward No. 12 where appointment has been done and/or

Patna High Court CWJC No.17717 of 2022(2) dt.16-04-2024 2/2 further a writ in the nature of mandamus may be issued commanding respondent District Magistrate, Darbhanga to consider and to take action on the application of the petitioner submitted against the irregularity and illegality in appointment of the private respondent no. 05 to this writ petition."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
