Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Nautan (Jagdishpur) P.S. Case No. 96/2019 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B, 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner happens to be the husband of the deceased and, admittedly, the deceased died within seven years of her marriage. The informant in his written report claims that prior to her death, the deceased was subjected to cruelty and torture by the petitioner and other co-accused and, subsequently, they killed the deceased and disposed of her dead body.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.69272 of 2019(4) dt.25-06-2020 2/2 Regard being had to the facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, this anticipatory bail petition stands rejected.
