2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 303(2), 74, 117(2) and 3(5) of the BNS. Later on, Sections 109 and 103(1) of the BNS was also added.
3. As per the prosecution case, this petitioner along with other co-accused persons assaulted the husband of the informant (deceased) and also tried to outrage her daughter.
4. Learned senior counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. There is history of enmity between the parties. Petitioner is in custody since 14.07.2025.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposes the bail application and submits that there is allegation against this petitioner that he assaulted on the hand of the deceased with iron rod and has got three criminal antecedents. Hence, he does not deserve regular bail.
6. Considering the nature of accusation, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. However, since petitioner is in custody since 14.07.2025, Trial Court is directed to expedite and conclude the trial, preferably, within a period of one year from the date of receipt/production of copy of this order.
