2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Rohtas P.S. Case No. 08 of 2021 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 341, 323, 307, 427 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 33, 41, 42 of the Indian Forest Act.

3. The petitioner is accused of committing theft of wood from the jungle and when they were intercepted, the petitioner and others assaulted the police. The petitioner is in custody since 26.08.2023.

4. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

5. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.74349 of 2023(2) dt.29-11-2023 2/2 let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned C.J.M, Rohtas, Sasaram in connection with Rohtas P.S. Case No. 08 of 2021.
