The petitioner is in custody since 23.08.2017 in connection with a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 399/402 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 25(1-b)a/26/35 of the Arms Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegation against the petitioner is that one empty cartridge was recovered from his possession. It is submitted that another similarly co-accused has been granted bail by this Court on 17.10.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 49861 of 2017.
