The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Chainpur P.S. Case No. 227 of 2019 for the offence under Sections 366(A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits the petitioner, who is of clean antecedent, is innocent and has not committed any offence. In fact, the victim is a major and she in her statement recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C. has also stated that she is of 18 years of her age and she has denied the involvement of the petitioner in alleged occurrence, which is evident from Annexure-2. The petitioner is rotting in judicial custody since 04.07.2019.

Case No. 227 of 2019.
