The petitioner seeks bail in Kutumba P.S. Case No. 17 of 2017 registered under Section 304-B of the Indian Penal Code.
As per the prosecution case, the daughter of the informant is said to have been done to death for dowry demand by her husband in association of other accused persons. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner happens to be uncle-in-law of the deceased. The allegation levelled against the petitioner is not specific rather general and omnibus in nature. He has no concern with the aforesaid occurrence. The father-in-law of the deceased has been enlarged on bail by a co-ordinate bench of this court in Cr. Misc. No. 50994 of 2017 vide order dated 21.11.2017. The petitioner has
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.51310 of 2017 (03) dt.21-12-2017 - 2 - been languishing in custody since 28.05.2017. In the facts and circumstances of the case, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.D.J.-I, Aurangabad in connection with S. Tr. No.370 of 2017/127 of 2017, arising out of Kutumba P.S. Case No.17 of 2017.
