The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Belsand P.S. Case No. 71 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under Section 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
Allegation against the petitioners is to torture for not fulfilling the demand of dowry. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the husband of the informant Chandan Kumar Jha has been granted anticipatory bail by Coordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 20.11.2019 passed in Cr. Misc. No.73332 of 2019. He further submits that the petitioner

He further submits that the petitioners have no any criminal antecedent. In the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioners be released on bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of A.C.J.M.-1, Sitamarhi in connection with Belsand P.S.
