2. Petitioner seeks regular bail for an offence punishable under Sections 304B, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per allegation in the FIR, it is a case of dowry death to the petitioner's wife due to non fulfillment of dowry demand by petitioner and his family members.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and he has falsely been implicated in this case. He further submits that petitioner is the husband of the deceased and he has got no criminal antecedent. He next submits that the brother of the husband of the deceased has already granted bail by this Court in Cr. Misc. No.29525 of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.75509 of 2024(2) dt.31-01-2025 2/2 2024.

5. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner and submits that petitioner is the husband of the deceased and there is specific allegation for demand of dowry.

6. On perusal of the first information report and impugned order dated 16.07.2024, it appears that petitioner is named in the FIR and he is the husband of the deceased and the marriage was solemnized between them within one year and there is serious allegation against the petitioner for committing the murder of the deceased, so I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
