Mr.Harendra Prasad ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 31-01-2020 Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Adapur P.S. Case No. 280 of 2018, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302, 201/34 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code. Petitioner happens to be husband and allegation is of causing death of his wife.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that there is absolutely nothing against the petitioner and she died in her Maike and later on he has been made accused and he is in custody since 9.10.2018.

Heard learned APP and perused the report, from which it appears that case is still pending for commitment. In view of above facts and circumstances, at this stage I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner but at the same time, S.D.J.M, Raxaul at Motihari is directed to expedite the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.65986 of 2019(4) dt.31-01-2020 2/2 commitment of the case and learned District Judge, East Champaran is directed to see as to why commitment has not been made in spite of the fact that petitioner is in custody for more than one year.

This application is, accordingly, dismissed.
