2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Katihar Nagar (Sahayak) P. S. Case No. 194 of 2024 dated 24-03-2024, instituted for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

3. The allegation is of recovery of 310 litres of illegal cough syrup from the house of the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. It is further submitted that alleged recovery was made from a joint family house and so many co-sharers are residing in the said house. It is submitted that nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. There is no

5. Learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, let the petitioner be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge-cum-Exclusive Excise Court No.2, Katihar in connection with Katihar Nagar (Sahayak) P. S. Case No. 194 of 2024 in G. R. No. 1601 of 2024.

7. The application stands allowed.
