Petitioners apprehend arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 63 of the Copyright Act. As per prosecution case, all the F.I.R. named accused persons including these petitioners were found involved in selling duplicate cosmetic items. On 21.04.2022, the duplicate cosmetics were recovered from the shop of the petitioners. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that petitioners are innocent and have falsely been implicated in this case. It is next submitted that shop in question does not belong to the petitioners. The case has been lodged on the basis
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.72338 of 2022(2) dt.23-03-2023 2/2 of assumption and the alleged seized articles have not been sent for its testing before the appropriate authorities. Petitioners claim clean antecedent.
Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the above named petitioners in the event of their arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Araria in Araria P.
