2. Earlier when the matter was taken up, there was none to represent the petitioner.

Mr. Sanjay Kumar, learned counsel for the State, by referring to the averments made in the counter affidavit, filed on behalf of respondent no.3, submits that all the admissible dues have been paid to the petitioner, as has been mentioned in para.17 thereof. Further submission has been made that pension paper with service book of late Uma Shankar Chaudhary has been sent to the Accountant General, Bihar by the District

Patna High Court CWJC No.17921 of 2022 dt.29-01-2024 2/2 Agriculture Officer, Sitamarhi, vide letter no. 3326, dated 13.12.2023 for necessary decision and sanction of family pension and Death-cum-retiral gratuity.

4. In view of the submissions advanced at the bar, the present writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent no.3 to take all the necessary steps to ensure payment of family pension of the petitioner in accordance with law, preferably within a period of twelve weeks.
