Some sort of dispute arose during course of immersion of idol and in the aforesaid background, on the following day a mob consisting of 500-700 persons assembled in front of police station, raised slogan against the administration, pelted stones, indulged in arson. During course thereof, police had arrested some of them and petitioner happens to be one of them. Petitioner is under custody since 03.10.2017 having no criminal antecedent as per Para-3 of the petition.
Accordingly, petitioner, Sudhir Thakur is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Rohtas at Sasaram in connection with Nokha P. S. Case No.299 of 2017.
