Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 472 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code.
Allegation against the petitioner is that he had taken money from three persons including the informant for managing back door entry on Class IV post of railway. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that, in fact, the petitioner had taken loan from the informant and informant demanded exorbitant interest on that amount and just to pressurize, false case has been lodged. Even if the allegation is assumed to be correct, the informant had himself indulged in illegal activity to ensure back door
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.14885 of 2018 (5) dt.30-04-2018 2/2 entry in public appointment. Petitioner is in custody since 03.12.2017. Investigation of the case is already complete. Considering the aforesaid submission, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Khaira Police Station Case No. 292 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
