Patna High Court CWJC No.1702 of 2018(4) dt.12-10-2018 2/2 In this case, the petitioner is only making a prayer to conclude the departmental inquiry initiated against him in terms of the Bihar Government Servant (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 2005.

The State has filed its counter and brought on record the punishment order containing memo no.107 dated 05.07.2018, by which the punishment of censure and deprivation of salary for the period of absence has been inflicted upon the petitioner.

As the departmental inquiry has already been concluded and final order of punishment has been passed, this writ petition does not survive. Hence, this writ petition is dismissed with a liberty to the petitioner to challenge the order of punishment before the appropriate forum.
