The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Dehri (Town) P.S. Case No. 886 of 2017 dated 6.11.2017 for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a), 34 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The allegation is regarding recovery of 30 liters of illicit liquor from the field of the petitioner situated beside the railway track.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present, he has a clean antecedent and he is in custody since 7.10.2017. Considering the nature of accusation, the period of

No.834 of 2018 (2) dt.18-01-2018 2/2 custody already undergone and the fact that the petitioner has a clean antecedent, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 2nd Additional Sessions Judge-cum Special Judge (Excise), Rohtas at Sasaram, in connection with Dehri (Town) P.S. Case No. 886 of 2017 dated 6.11.2017.
