2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Guraru P.S. Case No. 171 of 2022 registered for the offence under Sections 25(1-b)a, 26, 35 of the Arms Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, two country made pistols have been recovered from the petitioner.

4. The petitioner is in jail since 14.11.2022.

5. The petitioner is accused in 11 more cases of similar and serious nature including Dacoity etc.

6. Mr. Pritivi Raj Singh Chauhan, learned counsel for the petitioner has vehemently argued this case on behalf of the petitioner and has submitted that other accused person has been granted bail by this Court and therefore the petitioner may also be granted bail.

7. On the above submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, it has been submitted by the learned APP for the State that the accused person who has been granted bail was having one criminal antecedent but in case of the petitioner, he is accused in 11 more cases and he may not be granted bail.

8. Considering the aforesaid submissions and also in view of the safety of the society, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

9. Accordingly, this application is dismissed.

10. The District Judge, Gaya is directed to expedite the trial of all the cases pending against the petitioner.

11. The Senior Superintendent of Police, Gaya will see to it that the witnesses are regularly produced in the Court below on the dates of trial of all the cases pending against the petitioner.

12. Let a copy of this order be communicated to the District Judge, Gaya and the Senior Superintendent of Police, Gaya through FAX for its compliance.
