JUSTICE MADHURESH PRASAD) Date : 18-04-2023 The instant suo motu public interest litigation arising out of newspaper report regarding deficiencies and irregularities in the camp organized for female tubal ligation surgery.

Proceedings have finally culminated in an inquiry being conducted by a three men committee. The report dated 04.02.2023 has been placed on record.

The learned Amicus Curie, therefore, submits that the only issue that now remains is for the Authorities to take follow up steps for initiating action against the erring official/medical

Patna High Court CWJC No.17059 of 2022 dt.18-04-2023 2/2 officer/staff based on opinion of the three men committee. The learned Advocate General is appearing and has assured the Court that based on report of the three men committee dated 04.02.2023, the issue would be taken to its logical conclusion.

In view of such undertaking, the public interest litigation is closed.
