2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Aurangabad (T) P.S. Case No. 320 of 2024, registered for the offence under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code and section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. As per prosecution case, unknown criminals are said to have shot the deceased. Their faces were covered so they could not be identified in the CCTV footage.

4. Learned senior counsel for the petitioner submits that there is no material to connect the petitioner with the crime except for suspicion and the self inculpatory statement of the petitioner. Petitioner is in custody since 21.06.2024.

5. Learned counsel for the informant submits that the

No.76014 of 2024(3) dt.22-01-2025 2/2 petitioner and the wife of the deceased were in constant touch on their phone and it appears that were having an affair and thereafter this petitioner contacted the co-accused Mukesh for killing the deceased. It has come in the self inculpatory statement of the petitioner that he was driving the motorcycle and Manoj shot the deceased.

6. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

7. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, this application is dismissed.

8. The trial court is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner at the earliest.
