The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No. 6 of 2017 Barachatty P.S.Case No. 66 of 2016 registered for the office under Sections 15/18 of N.D.P.S.Act. Allegation against the petitioner is of cultivating opium in the field.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner is in custody since 09.12.2016 and perused the report from which it appears that statement under Section 313 Cr. P. C. had already been recorded and learned Trial Court should ensure to conclude the case within the month. Heard learned A.P.P. who opposed the prayed for bail.
