The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Session Trial No. 472 of 2017 arising out of Katoria P.S. Case No. 117 of 2017 registered for the offences under Sections 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The allegation is regarding the accused persons including the petitioner herein who is the husband of the victim lady strangulating the victim lady leading to her death. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the father-in-law and mother-in-law of the victim lady have already been released on bail and the petitioner is innocent and is languishing in custody since 18.7.2017.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.21573 of 2018 (5) dt.28-06-2018 2/2 submitted that the present case is a grave case of killing of the victim lady by the petitioner herein and others which is substantiated from the postmortem report inasmuch as 12 inch mark of strangulation has been found on the neck of the victim lady which has resulted in her death on account of strangulation. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I do not find the present case to be a fit case for grant of regular bail. Accordingly, the same is dismissed.
