The petitioner is in custody since 31.10.2017 in connection with Mehasi P.S. Case No. 320 of 2017 for the offence registered under Section 395 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not named in the first information report nor has any incriminating material been recovered from his possession. It is further submitted that on the basis of the confessional statement made before the police by some co-accused persons, the petitioner's name has transpired and the petitioner was also made to give his confession before the police. It is further submitted that no T.I. Parade has been conducted till date.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.19806 of 2018 (4) dt.02-05-2018 Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, East Champaran at Motihari in connection with Mehasi P.S. Case No. 320 of 2017.
