This writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs:- "(i) For issuance of a writ of mandamus for direction to the respondents specially respondent no. 3 and 4 to cancel of the settlement of Bus/Jeep stand, Jehanabad for financial year 2017-18 by quashing the letter of settlement dt. 15.03.2017 after its production by the respondents as the letter of settlement could not be supplied to the petitioner despite making all possible effort even under Right to Information Act, which has been settled illegally

Patna High Court CWJC No.7158 of 2017(3) dt.02-09-2025 2/3 in favour of respondent no. 5 on 15.03.2017 pursuance to notice inviting tender published in daily news paper "Prabhat Khabar" dt. 05.03.2017 without any notice/information of opening of bid to the other five bidders/aspirants including the petitioner.

(ii) For issuance of a writ of mandamus commanding the respondent no. 4 to produce the record of settlement of Bus/Jeep stand, Jehanabad (2017-18) which has illegally been settled in favour of respondent no. 5 on 15.03.2017 in connivance with respondents authorities pursuance to defective notice inviting tender published in daily news paper "Prabhat Khabar dt. 05.03.2017 and the said record of opening bid could not be given to the petitioner despite all possible effort even under Right to Information Act.

(iii) For issuance of a writ of mandamus for direction to the respondents that after cancelling the entire tender process a fresh NIT be published for settlement of Bus/Jeep stand, Jehanabad which has illegally been settled in favour of respondent no. 5 on 15.03.2017 without any notice/information to the other bidders likewise the petitioner. (iv) For issuance of a writ of mandamus for direction to the respondents that respondent no. 5 be restrained from realizing the toll from the bus/Jeep owners till final adjudication of the present writ application as the settlement in his favour dt. 15,03.2017 is based upon illegal

3. It has been candidly accepted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that with the passage of time the writ application has become infructuous and, as such, he may be permitted to withdraw the writ application.
