JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 16-05-2018 Earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 25.07. 2017 passed in Cr. Appeal (SJ) No. 1299 of 2017 with a direction to renew his prayer for bail within a period of seven months.

Submission of the learned counsel for the appellant that substantive progress has been made in the present case and charges have been framed in this case on 17.05.2017 and the appellant is in custody since 04.01.2017.

Heard learned A.P.P. also.

From perusal of the report, it appears that out of seven witnesses, only two witnesses have been examined in this case. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to grant bail to the appellant at this stage.

APP (SJ) No.1108 of 2018 (4) dt.16-05-2018 2/2 The learned Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and make efforts to dispose of the same expeditiously within six months further. It is made clear that if the trial is not concluded within a further period of six months, the learned trial Court will release the appellant on his own satisfaction. With the above observation, this application is disposed of.
