2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 379, 354, 307, 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per prosecution case, allegation against this petitioner is that he, along with other accused persons named in the F.I.R., assaulted informant and his family members due to which they sustained injuries.
4. It is submitted by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner is quite innocent and has committed no offence. From bare perusal of the F.I.R. it is apparent that specific accusation of assault is against co-accused Dev Kumar Singh. So far as this petitioner is concerned, allegation of assault is general and omnibus in nature. As a

On the other hand, learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner and submitted that petitioner is named in the F.I.R. with specific accusation that he, along with other accused persons named in the F.I.R., assaulted informant and his family members. Petitioner has also got four criminal antecedents..
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, nature of accusation and criminal antecedents of the petitioner, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is rejected.
