JUSTICE SANDEEP KUMAR ORAL ORDER 04-03-2023 Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and learned APP appearing on behalf of the State. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bahadurpur P.S. Case No. 122 of 2019 registered for the offence under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition Excise Act, 2018. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner and his name has come due to local politics. Learned APP for the State opposed the prayer for bail by contending that the petitioner has fourteen other criminal antecedents registered under the Excise Act and the petitioner is a habitual offender.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.72408 of 2022(2) dt.04-03-2023 2/2 In view of the facts and circumstances, as mentioned above, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer of bail of the petitioner is rejected.
