JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 14-11-2019 Although, the present writ petition has been filed for directing the respondent authorities to grant arms licence to the petitioner, for which the petitioner had applied in the year 2013, however, the learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that the petitioner would be filing a fresh application for grant of arms licence before the concerned District Magistrate/ the District Arms Magistrate, East Champaran, Motihari within a period of four weeks from today and the same be directed to be disposed off expeditiously.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file appropriate application for

Patna High Court CWJC No.11016 of 2017(4) dt.14-11-2019 2/2 grant of arms licence under the new Arms Rules, 2016 within a period of four weeks from today, which shall be disposed of by the District Magistrate/ District Arms Magistrate, East Champaran, Motihari within a period of twelve weeks from the date of filing of an appropriate application for grant of arms licence.
