The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Gardanibagh P.S. Case No. 44 of 2018 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 417 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code. The allegation in the present case is regarding the petitioner having given his thumb impression at the time of written examination held for selection to the post of Constable but the same did not match with the thumb impression taken at the time of physical test, as such it has transpired that the petitioner did not sit in the written examination but somebody else had impersonated him.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent, he is having a clean antecedent and is

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-Judge-XIV-cum-A.C.J.M., Patna in connection with Gardanibagh P.S. Case No. 44 of 2018.
