This is an application for regular bail on behalf of the petitioner for the offences alleged under Section 8(c), 21(B) of the NDPS Act, registered in connection with Town P.S.Case No. 604 of 2022(NDPS Case No.188/2022).

As per allegation, 9 gm and 10 mg of smack were recovered from the possession of the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that he is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. On the other hand, the learned APP has opposed the prayer for bail.

No.72897 of 2022(2) dt.20-03-2023 2/2 It appears that the petitioner was arrested at the spot and 9 gm and 10 mg of smack were recovered from his possession and he is also an accused in similar nature of case. In my view, it is not a fit case to grant bail to the petitioner. It is accordingly rejected.
