1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1(I) For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of MANDAMUS, commanding and directing the Respondent Authorities particularly to the Respondent nos. 2,3 and 4 to take suitable disciplinary action against the Respondent no.5 for his malafide, illegal and inhuman act towards the petitioner as also to abuse his power in discharge of his duties being the officer of the rank of District Statistics Officer on the ground that the petitioner is suffering from spinal problem since last December, 2021 but instead of sanction of earned

Patna High Court CWJC No.18044 of 2022(2) dt.16-04-2024 2/2 leave on the application of the petitioner the Respondent no.5 deducted the salary of the petitioner as also asked show-cause notices to the petitioner for making unnecessary harassment as well as even after transfer of the petitioner from Sheikhpura to Bhagalpur,the Respondent no.5 did not send the Last Payment Certificate to the transferred place of the petitioner within time. (II) For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of MANDAMUS, commanding and directing the Respondent Authorities to make payment of salary for the period of the month of June, 2002 and July,2002 after sanctioning of earned leave and other admissible due if any which was illegally withheld by the Respondent no.5."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondent-authorities for redressal of his subsisting grievances, if any. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. The present writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
