2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Simri Bakhtiyarpur P.S. Case No. 80 of 2024 registered for the offences under Section 392 and 411 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is said to have looted the informant on gun point and assaulted him.

4. The name of the petitioner has transpired in this case on the basis of a self-inculpatory statement of co-accused and he is in custody since 20.07.2024.

5. The petitioner is also accused in four more cases of similar and serious nature.

6. Considering the nature of allegation and the criminal antecedent of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application is dismissed.
