The petitioner apprehends his arrest for the offences alleged under Sections 498A, 354, 354B, 307, 326 and 328/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act registered in connection with Complaint Case No. C-557 of 2019. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is ready to pay Rs. 5,00,000/- (Rupees five lakhs) in the account of the opposite party no. 2. He further submits that the petitioner will pay Rs. 5,00,000/- in one time settlement. In the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.65529 of 2019(2) dt.13-11-2019 2/2 directed to deposit a bank draft of Rs. 5,00,000/- (five lakh) in the name of opposite party no. 2 before court below within one month and on deposit of the aforesaid amount, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within six weeks from the date of communication of this order, the court below shall release him on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Motihari, East Champaran in connection with Complaint Case No. C-557 of 2019, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
