The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Maranchi P.S. Case No. 5 of 2019, registered under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act.

Submission is that it would appear from the first information report that on the basis of the fardbeyan of the informant, Ram Naresh Singh, Maranchi P.S. Case No. 5 of 2019 was instituted regarding the murder of Krishnandan Singh against unknown. In course of investigation, confessional statement of co-accused, Sikandar Singh, who confessed his guilt detailing the name of petitioner as his associate.
