2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case, registered for offence punishable under Sections 69, 351(2) of the B.N.S., 2023.

3. The petitioner is brother-in-law of the informant and he is alleged to have committed rape on the false pretext of marriage, as a result of which, she became pregnant and thereafter, this petitioner aborted her child. The victim (informant) has supported the case in her statement recorded under Section 181 & 183 B.N.S.S..

4. Considering the nature of accusation and statement
