The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Manjhi P.S. Case No. 98 of 2019, registered under Sections 341, 323, 504 and 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of the Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate-II, Saran at Chapra.

The accusation is that in course of returning of the informant Amarjeet Kumar Ram from the market to his village, four persons named in the F.I.R., including the petitioner, started to abuse and caused assault and tried to snatch his mobile. When informant made protest then petitioner gave the knife blow causing injury at the finger of his left hand. When Pramod Ram, father of the informant, rushed then this

No.68151 of 2019(2) dt.15-11-2019 2/2 petitioner gave knife blow causing injury at his left thumb, when Kamlesh Ram, uncle of the informant, rushed then this petitioner gave knife blow to him near his left eye. At that time, Sugrib Ram, also came with lathi and caused injury at the head of his uncle Kamlesh Ram.

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and the nature of allegation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, his prayer for grant of anticipatory bail stands rejected. The petitioner is directed to surrender before the trial Court within four weeks and pray for regular bail, which would be considered by the trial Court in accordance with law without being prejudiced by the order of this Court.
