The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Sahajitpur P.S. Case No. 91 of 2019, registered under Sections 376 and 511 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of A.C.J.M.-VI, Saran at Chapra.

The accusation is that on 13.07.2019, at about 10 P.M., informant had gone to tie the she-goat in her Bathan but at that time, petitioner made attempt to commit rape on her. When she made protest then she was assaulted by the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits, in fact, informant has illicit relation with her brother-in-law due to that reason, petitioner had gone to make complaint but he has falsely

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and the nature of allegation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, his prayer for grant of anticipatory bail stands rejected. The petitioner is directed to surrender before the trial court within four weeks and pray for regular bail, which would be considered by the trial court in accordance with law without being prejudiced by the order of this Court.
