The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Saharsa Mahila P.S. Case No. 49 of 2019, registered under Sections 498(A), 323, 324, 307, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation is of torturing of the informant by her husband Md. Shaahnawaj @ Md. Shahnawaj (Petitioner) and causing assault to her through knife and removing her from matrimonial house.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is the husband of informant and he is in custody

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.73814 of 2019(3) dt.16-03-2020 2/2 since 03.07.2019. Further submission is that the injury as found on the person of informant, as detailed in paragraph No. 35 of the case diary, is simple in nature.

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned J.M. Saharsa in connection with Saharsa Mahila P.S. Case No. 49 of 2019.
