The grievance of the petitioner in the instant writ application is non-consideration of the case of the petitioner for appointment on compassionate ground as the mother of the petitioner died in harness on 21.3.2015.

Mr. Manish Kumar, appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the matter is pending at the level of the District Programme Officer (Establishment), Patna since 27.5.2016 but till date no final decision has been taken on the claim of the petitioner for compassionate appointment.

Considering the fact that the matter is pending before the

Patna High Court CWJC No.3134 of 2017(3) dt.13-12-2017 2/2 respondent No. 4, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No. 4 to place the case of the petitioner before the competent authority within a period of one month from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order for appropriate decision.

It is needless to state here that the competent authority will take final decision on the claim of the petitioner for compassionate appointment in accordance with law within a further period of three months from the date of placing the matter by the District Programme Officer, Respondent No.4.
