The petitioner has approached this Court for a direction to take the disciplinary proceeding initiated against him to its logical conclusion.
It has been submitted that because of such proceeding having been kept pending, the petitioner has been put to serious disadvantage and his interim
Patna High Court CWJC No.21565 of 2019(2) dt.19-12-2019 2/2 allowance also has been stopped since March, 2019. It has further been submitted that the enquiry report has already been submitted in September, 2018 but no decision has yet been taken by the disciplinary authority.
There does not appear to be any reason for keeping the disciplinary proceeding against the petitioner pending without any reason. It is expected of the Disciplinary Authority to conclude the proceeding and take it to its logical conclusion as early as possible, possibly within a period of three months from the date of production of a copy of this order before it. With the aforesaid observation / direction, this petition stands disposed off.
