1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned APP for the State and the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the informant.

2. The petitioner seeks bail in Buxar (Mufassil) P. S. Case No.36 of 2024 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 419, 420, 467, 468, 471, 494 and 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 25(1) of the Arms Act.

3. In the nature of allegation as alleged in the FIR and considering the criminal antecedent of the petitioner, the Court for the present is not inclined to release the petitioner on bail as it has been alleged that petitioner by forging the signature of DIG, Sahabad Range, got a forged letter issued showing himself

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.75769 of 2024(2) dt.18-01-2025 2/2 as a Sub-Inspector based on which, he also performed his marriage with a girl after taking heavy dowry when he was married from before.

4. Considering the submissions made by the parties and taking into consideration the seriousness of the offence, the Court is not inclined to release the petitioner on bail.

5. The prayer of the petitioner for regular bail stands rejected.

6. However, the petitioner would be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail after framing of charge. (Satyavrat Verma, J) vikash/- U T
