2. The petition has been preferred for quashing the order contained in memo no. 1987 dated 23.09.2022 passed by the Director, Mines, Bihar-cum-Chief Executive Officer, Bihar State Mining Corporation Limited.

3. At the outset, Mr. Naresh Dikshit, learned Special PP, Mines, provided a copy of letter issued by Bihar State

Patna High Court CWJC No.15773 of 2023(2) dt.29-08-2024 2/2 Mining Corporation Limited under the signature of its General Manager addressed to the Special PP, Mines showing the direction that has been issued for the payment of the business concern, the case of the petitioner is listed at Serial No.8, though in the remarks column, it has been incorporated that for payment, the file is moving, learned Special APP, Mines submits that this chart includes only those persons for whom decision has been taken for payment.

4. In that background, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr. Samdarshi submits that since he does not know the present status, the matter be disposed of with liberty that in case the facts are different, he may approach the appropriate authority.

5. Granting said liberty and in view of the statement made by Mr. Dikshit, learned Special PP, Mines, as stated above, the writ petition stands disposed of.
