1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That, this application is directed for issuance of writ in the nature of Certiorari/any other appropriate writ/order/direction commanding the respondents to remove the encroachment from the public road appertaining to Khata No.704, Plot No.2338 of Mauja-Amari, Thana No.59, wherein the respondent no.8 has encroached that the Gairmajarua aam land of public road and has raised the boundary wall, reduced the widening of

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the respondent-State submits, by referring to the counter affidavit filed in the present case that the Circle Officer, Chhourahi, District-Begusarai, has already held that encroachment has been made over the gairmajarua aam land in question, which was being used as a public road earlier, hence appropriate steps shall be taken by the District Magistrate, Begusarai, forthwith. It is directed accordingly.

3. The writ petition stands disposed off.
