JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 12-09-2018 The petitioner is in custody since 10.2.2017 in connection with Begusarai P.S. Case No. 53 of 2016, registered for offences punishable under Sections 385, 387/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

Allegation as per F.I.R. is of demand of rangdari and apart from that he is an accused in 19 other cases. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that the F.I.R. does not show that there was transfer of money and the petitioner is in custody since 10.2.2017.

Heard learned A.P.P. also.

From perusal of the F.I.R. and the criminal antecedent which shows that he is an accused in 19 other cases, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. However, since the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.45622 of 2018 (3) dt.12-09-2018 2/2 petitioner is in custody for more than a year, the learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial.
